16th January Saturday!

Hello! We had a busy busy week! Reuben spent a lot of time in nursery as Mummy had Drs appintment Wednesday and Thursday and then daddy took mummy for a little shopping to Bwater on Friday. R was very good this week...and apart from not sleeping very well due to banged up nose and congestion and his normal very difficult to settle in the evening. I think we are adjusting well to being home and enjoy playing with his toys and watching his Videos! His speech is getting better even though he plays a little on being a baby right now....:))
Today we went to do some last minute shopping and research for the puschair we would like after which we went to see granny Smith who was only pleased to see us since she has not seen us since before CHristmas. Reuben and Daddy here is showing granny Smith pictures from our trip to Romania. ITs hard to believe we have not even been back yet a months!

CAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRS and BABIES

Hello! Reuben has been so good latley...he has such fun watching Madagascar, (and loves when they sing I LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT...and learnt to dance with his backside...very cute) and Toy Story and Caars. We are well and truley Disneyed out....but cold days like this and dark morning and evenings I really don;t mind him enjoying some TV time. He often seems to stop and play then go back and watch more....
He starts the mornings with daddy and finishes the day with him too which is really sweet.

Aunty Ellie gave Reuben a single bed linen set that we use now as a cover for his bed as well as a cover for the carpet, comfort blanket....table cloth and just about any other use you can imagine.. This evening he was playing with some of his old things like this puzzle...he also read his book very impressively.

Since we were kind of stuck indoors this morning due to the mummy feeling shattered after an early morning cooking pancake while she spent most of the morning in bed boys watched TV and while daddy did some work R did his oregami...cause thats how clever we are:))

I do not think UK, Rochester has ever seen this much snow!!:)) in one place. The streets are empty shops are empty lucky we live on HIGHSTREET....so we can venture out.

Azt hiszem Rochester nem lattott meg ennyi havat soha:)) nagy a panik. Az uzletek uresek nincs senki sehol az utcakrol nem beszelve felelmetesen uresek...eltuntek az angol felos szivek!

We ventured out as I said and used the sledge and enjoyed the snow. It has snowed pretty much all day and we loved it just loved it this afternoon...we were forzen and the wind just blew snow in our faces but bacteria is dissapearing....health is showing....just look at R's cheeks!:))

After being out in the snow with two neighbour families the kids decided it was cinema time...so played then snuggled up and watched TV! It was priceless...how cool that I could sit downstairs (with monitor on) and have adult conversation and company while kids were enjoying upstairs some cinema time. BRING this on I like it!

Hello! Today we decided nursery would have been way too boring so we have met some friends for coffee and cake and then went out with the sledge....yay! It was so much fun! Boley Hill the best place ever! Here is Livy, Reuben and Georgia! THANKS MAMA AND TATA FOR THE LOVELY SNOW SUIT!:)

Hello! We are back in Uk! The last few days in Romania have been fun! Reuben seemed to enjoy himself and even attempted to play with TATA (grandad) and his causins who live in the same house as my parents Hannah and Hanniel
Here Reuben is being spoilt rotten...he just refused to get out so the causins tok turns in delighting him!:)) Kis piszok Reuben nagyon elvezte Hanni es Hanna jatekat!:)) nem is akart kiszalni igy hat a draga unokatesok ringattak ot:)) Bye bye to beautiful Perdy too who loved Reuben so much he kept licking him and jumping on him and Reuben thought it was the best thing!:))

This is at the local coffee shop called the Bridge! R is eating skittles sweets and I just had my cake!:)) We had such a nice day that day!

Great was my delight when finally home today Reuben decided he missed yummy food. I barely had anything in the house so daddy went to Hempstead Valley shopping centre and got stuck for 5 hours in traffic on the way back...mummy had to make due with what she had home....wasn;t too bad! It took daddy as long to get home from Hempstead Valley as it got him to drive from Romania to Budapest yesterday!:))such is life!

Nagy oromomre ma...draga fiam vegre eldontotte jo lenne enni rendesen. Igaz alig volt kaja ithon de azert sikerult valamiket osze boronalni...es nagy oromomre megette a fiam. Mialatt apuka ement 2 kor vasarolni es 5 orat volt dugoban viszafele ugyanis nem tisztitottak az utakat es minden lepten nyomon baleset stb. Erdekes hogy annyi idot vett igenybe kb 15 km t megtenni mint tegnap Romaniabol Magyarorszagra menni. Meg is jegyezte Jonathan hogy jo hogy a ugymond szegeny magyarorszag meg romaniaba szinte 300 kmt tisztitottak itt meg nem tudtak egy 15 km t tisztianni! HAt ez van jo hogy viszajott es itt van ithon!:)

This evening we went out to see the snow (via shopping locally for salt to be put down in front of the house) and R was amazed at the emptyness of the street and the snow that seemed nice and crunchy!

Snow at last! THey said there was 60 cm snow when we left Uk but when we got here we got no snow and spring time weather. Anyway, we still had loads of fun but today was lovely to wake up to some yummy snow! Reuben got very excited but concerned for our car toooo:))

Getting ready to go home to UK!

Hello! We went to Oradea today which us the nearest city to have a Macdonalds meal...(don;t laugh its a very posh place with a kids play area and the food is much better quality)...and had a walk on one of my favourite streets it was so nice even R loved it.

Reuben enjoying playing with Betty and Harry my brother Misi's kids. Although the kids are all much older than him he is always being played with and even grown up people know how to play here. Its really very sweet!:)

Tonight we stopped at my first causin Ibi's flat I love going to her she is always amazingly hospitable and such a lovely person to be with. She and her husband are my model marriage they are so good together and I always loved how they lives their lives with open doors and loads of smiles and comfort. She has three boys Sami (oldest), Otniel (middle) and Efi (youngest), Reuben loved being played with especially took to Sami (the oldest lad 19yrs old).

One of my huge regrets is that we can not live closer to these relations where my son could be learning and enjoying real family time.

Erdekes hogy Reuben nagyon megszerette Samit huzta a kezet vitte volna magaval mindehova meg haza is. De jo lenne ha el tudnam vinni ot hozzank egy idore....igazan jo bebi sitter lenne. Egy banatom volt mindeg hogy Reuben nem lehet tobbett az igazi csaladdal azokkal akik ennyire szeretik es kenyesztetik. Koszi Sami es fiuk...megkonnyitettetek kicsit az ittletemet....

Only a few days left and we are gona be going home! So many anxieties and so many worries but also will be taking with us the great things we were able to soak up while in Romania. I did not have particular plans other than just to BE with my family and in my parent's house and often boring but it was good to just chill and relax. My family have been amazing and I am forever thankful for the gift of being here for two weeks. more pics to come soon!:)
