ITs been a difficult week already! Daddy barely had slept more than 6 hours a night as R was restless and needing to be taken out for car rides. Mummy is knackred and feels exhasuted as all day she is carrying R as well as trying to get things done one handedly and when R asleep. Today R had no rest, he had a slight fever and nothing was consoling him. Mummy took him for a walk but that did not help then later during the day he fel asleep quite a few times and for longer periods but only on mummy;s chest. Mummy is exhasuted and negatve thoughts have started to rise such as that she is not very good mummy etc. We were invited to a mums and babies afternoon but we did not make it as R was more interested in screaming his and mummy;s head of then sleeping with mummy literally attached to her. As soon as mummy moved (needed the loo) he would cry so mummy was unable to move anywhere. He had 1 hour of happiness in the afternoon...followed by the horrid colic pains. Mummy gave him some paracetamol and he seemed to settle but by the evening he was again sad and upset! THe picture was taken while he was playing on the changing mat...why do kids get so happy when on changing mats?! I took the photo on the phone thats why the quality not the best!
After such a difficult day we are ready to fall into bed and hopefully have a good night sleep...who knows?!
