end of half term - vakacio vege

Sad to say and equally pleased half term is over and after a busy busy time we had decided today to just go and enjoy a nice warm day in Kent Garden....to Reuben's request. Scotney Castle here we come....and wow we did have an amazing day!!!

Reuben has not only now succesfully been dry and speaking amazigly and taking interest in languages and the wider world now he has an interest in flowers and insects of all kinds. He loves knowing flower and plant and tree's names and really is such a wonderful chatter box....a joy to be around him and with him. Here he spotted a beautiful ant:))) Look mummy its an ant and its so lovely:))) ok then shall we snack it?:))) remains the same old adventurer:)))

One of the highlights of today! Mindent tudni akar angolul, franciaul es magyarul es persze nem csak a nagy dolgok a kis dolgok mint peldaul a hangya meg a szinek es persze a lovacskak is szoba kerultek.

During the holidays (half term) Reuben has seen a lot of his best friend Alfie Booker and we had enjoyed a day at Kent Life Museum and also time at Monkey Bizz, at Kidz Zone and swimming with Pearl and Honor (from nursery)...we ran into friends from nursery but really tried to enjoy family time and learning new things enjoying the amazingly good weather. this was taken at the free tractor ride...:))

Seeing the little lambs and feeding them was just so therapeutical....even Zac loved it. It was before Easter so took time to explain to Reuben Easter and Spring time is NEW LIFE and babies....I think he understood...if not I did...have time to thing a bit more about just how special this time is.

Great great time spent with cousins from Lincoln...Ana, Peter and Simon whom he always talks about. They has also visited together Shorne Country Park and built train tracks and ran around and laughed loads...we realised just how much family means to him and how much he missed out on having them closer. Loves his cousins and rightly so as they have also spoilt him:))

OUr church was fantastic first to do an amazing Palm Sunday parade which culminated with bringing the donkeys in the church garden and letting them be played with....but also Maundy Thursday we had a Peasach Meal and more play in the garden and Friday before Easter we had crafts at church which were totally enjoyed by my boys so plenty to be busy with.

As we had lovley weather we also did a lot of biking and enjoying icecreams and such. One of the beauties of living near the highstreet 2 mins away from it is that we can just pop to the highstreet and get what we need, pop into shops, Cathedral, Castle grounds, two lovely parks one on the river one on top of the hill basically we could not be in a better place...and we are taking full advantage of it as we should.

And to top up the lovley things that happened to and with us WE HAD BAPTISED ZAC and so we had a lovley time Easter Sunday ....surrounded with family and friends we had celebrated Zac;s life and new life ....and off course we loved seeing Reuben being amazingly good and truley supporting his brother. He stood at the fountin with us and after Zac's Baptism he said outloud "is it my turn now"? Its lovely to see he is taking an interest in church...he often asks about Jesus, God and Mary, Joseph and the baby...the donkey and such. I am loving this stage so much. I want to be talking to him all day about everything because he is a spongebob right now...everything we say just remains in his little brain. I love you Reuben so very much....you are my shining STAR!

Hi there,

Its been a long while I know but time seems to just fly bye with two...and often by the time I get to think of the things I would write ....I fall asleep and just can;t wake so will be short.

Reuben has had huge milestones....

- no longer do we have a dummy

- no longer do we have nappy

- he is now swimming like a fish and does not only one kind of swimming

- his speach is coming along so well we are now having to be very very careful what we let him hear us say ....

- his French is the NEW BEST THING along with his "ungarian" (means hungarian)

-he has a new best friend Alfie Booker

- he is most often mentioning relatives in Romania, Slovakia and UK

- he is more aware of times of day, week and particularly looking forward to Easter and Summer time when his 4th big birthday will take place

- new interests are: golf (don;t ask), Tv - ben 10, Spiderman, Batman, Scooby Doo, Garfield, Tom and Jerry....and off course Dinos...., french and "ungarian"....colouring, reading....well just about everything but in not sooo big slices....

We have now heard and as from September Reuben has been accepted to a local school we had put down as first option and he has already been to take his paperwork and told the receptionist "this is my big boy school" who off course loved chattering to him.

We are entering two weeks of bliss starting this weekend...and actually due to Easter and Royal Wedding we now have nearly 4 weeks of holidays....so plenty to get busy with....wish us all the best...lets hope will be good and enjoyable.

REUBEN MY FIRST BORN

The joy of my life Reuben my first born you are amazing:)) I am loving how you love, protect and lavish your brother. I hope and pray you grow up together to be best friends and each others support for ever....God bless you both.

Reuben, you had challanged our lives more than anything else ever....you had thought me who I am truly and deeply...for many things I thank you. YOU had also disturbed my life our life enough to realise WHAT IS IMPORTANT IN LIFE. I will forever love you and in a very very special way. When I see you "me" is lost and all I feel is love and a lot of pride because you are truley amazing my lovely first born.

THe way you talk to your daddy the way you miss him when he is not there is amazing. You and your dad have always had a special special bond. You love your dad and right now you spend most mornings with him...and you have a lot of special times like swimming and train track building together...

Zacky just woke up but here is how we look now:))) Mummy is wearing a vest top but people keep saying its my nighty...:))

you are suddenly so playfull and make up stories...here you were saying to daddy you are a roaring dinosaur...and its so sweet:))

TRULY HOW YOU REALLY ARE:)) HAPPY EXCITED, ADORABLE, VERY VERY CHEEKY and well TRULEY AND DEEPLY MADLY IN LOVE WITH THE WORLD AND US.

For now mummy is taking a break from blogging as life is speeding up we will only do monthly posts. Hopefully can keep them up....you are soon 4 years old...going to school and so much excitment to prepare you for. IN the last months you had quite happily given up the dummy and you are now almost dry...you have pull ups but go happily to toilet and enjoy wearing pants home and nursery. I am proud as you had surprised me. It all happened before Easter when I had planned to do all this things....with you. So you were rewarded by getting "hot dog" your first white puppy...(not a real one but it does walk and makes noises)...I love how your first thought on bringing it home was TO FEED THE DOG, you tried feed him, carrots, cucumber and sausage. You ARE TRULY SHOWING SIGNS OF A VERY VERY CARING BOY. WE ADORE AND LOVE YOU. you also love speaking french....love saying the colours and singing the BONJOUR song.

BIG BEAUTIFUL HELPFUL BOY

Ohh the years and experience I always expected has arrived. We reached the nights that are slept through (most of the time) the stage of conversations and questions and debates and amazing curiousity. I am loving Reuben at this stage. This picture has been taken (and the one below)during the morning. Reuben always wakes very happy and then asks to go downstairs with Blue Teddy and Dinosaur in toe...they then settle on the sofa and watch TV. Somewhere in between they start the breakfast and the feeding Zac routine (meanwhile I get to stay in bed ...THANKS TO MY AMAZING HUSBAND) he then off course chatters in the kitchen and entertains his brother :))and daddy.
Most mornings I come down he is eager to make me a coffee and toast. It goes something like this: Mummy you want a coffee? Blue, pink? And well that you should know its the capsules he uses in our Nespresso. THen proceeds no matter what I say in making me a coffee and toast. Then we shall all chatter and talk and such in the living room. He loves his routines. here he is washing up and drying up...just like mummy.

REuben loves amusing his brother. I am forever thankful to God that these boys are so good to each other. Zac copies Reuben and R loves it. He is trying to tecah him some strange stuff...like his new way of smiling:))) with tightly closed EYES:))

He really is that funny and lovely and amazingly good brother. And since no Dummy he is even more grown up it seems.

Don;t know where he has seen this...but he is entertaining a poorley brother at the table with playing with some colourful cups.:)))

I LOVE YOU MUMMY, DADDY, ZACKY, GRANNY

A mum that lets her son get away with this and a lot more:))) Still, Reuben has been an absolute angel...I am loving what I see and feel. He comes up with the sweetest things. The other morning he laid in bed with me poking my eyes, nose and such....and saying sweet little nothings....ahhhh

Every evening when we go to bed...one of us takes him to bed...and we have a giant cuddle after which and just before he shuts his eyes for sleep he says: I love you mummy, daddy, Zacky and now off course granny too as she is in the house too. I love how he wants to love us all....bless.

Reuben has had many playdates lately. HIs bestest train friend is Nicholas and its lovely to see them get on so well. not only NIcholas is the best influence ever he is also a very well behaved boy.

It is lovely when all boys play together....these younger ones love the older boys but we have to keep them away. Reuben is so very good with Zac...when Zac takes a train or a track away Reuben now knows to distract Zac by exciting him into something else which goes like this: "Zacky look la la la lala la la" then quick exit and take back what Zacky took away. Occasionally there is a bit of a crisis but he just comes running to be and says: "Mummy Zacky need to be on the sofa...with toys"....well today they were all happy...and we were happy as mums.

Yap no TV in the bedroom but we sure do have a TV in the kitchen...boys love love love watching a story or two while playing....eating or just while I cook or prepare stuff. here they are doing crafts.

Happy Bday Zacariah!! I LOVE YOU BROTHER

Happy Bday dear Zacky brother!!! Reuben was so good and so enthusiastic at celebrating his brother's bday. I have to say Zac was not really aware of what was going on but Reuben had a really good time.

Here my three boys my pride and my joy off course!!! A Zac wondering "what was all that about" and a Reuben who was singing happily the bday song to his belowed brother.

On the day we had my friend Elena and Andrei over and in the afternoon after R came home from nursery we went to the park...it was a sunny but bitter cold day. Reuben was brilliantly looking after his brother...I love this picture...talks so well about their relationship. LOve how they come alive each when they see each other....

A moment of dummy time...pleased to report today is the 5th day Reuben has no dummy....he still asks for it but yes, we now are dummy free. Reuben knows the mice have taken the top of his dummies and now all we have left is yukky dummies that are no good. He was ok when I told him but first evening we went through a lot of questions such as: "mummy mice like cheese...not dummies....where is my dummy? or mice only ate my brown dummies where are my pink and my green dummies?" I tell you what dear readers kids are not silly stupid they so know what they want and can argue just as well as us adults...or shall I say us adults are sometimes so childlish about our arguments?:)))

What a shame this pic is blurry...we were all too excited. Mummy wearing an old top and a scrunchie as had no time to be yummy mummy....

And finally on Saturday a big big bday bash for Zac!! I think the shock of seeing so many of his friends (our friends) got to him as he was sucking his dummy and he only does that when he is upset, concentrating or just amazed at something....!:)) Reuben was amazingly good. We went swimming in the morning as always then Marie Booker (Alfie's mum) has offered to take Reuben to her house so we can all do the preparations for the bday....and they all arrived in time for the party, Reuben loves his friend Alfie whom he has been in nursery since baby room (8-9 months). THey are both different but so good together. Reuben was so good....he is good....love him so much these days. Reuben you are so so amazing...loving being your mummy. XXXXX

My little array of sunshine...

Reuben has been amazing recently...he is such a lovely boy. Has developped a little "I need to see other people's homes" and therefore keeps asking me to take him to various kids houses after nursery. We had visited Alfie recently and that was nice so they also came and saw us...which indeed was so cool...
Reuben and Alfie had been together in nursery since baby room seeing them playing together just so fun. Zac off course joined in but they were so lovely and that also meant a lot to me.

CRafts too have been something T seems to like these days....indeed...painting, sticking, glueing and such....been so good even Zac enjoyed it. However I do find I get so shattered by the eveining all I want to do is just flop back and sleep.

Brotherly love. I am so so thankful to GOd that they keep getting on so well. They share most times and also they love each other which really is like balm to my heart. We had been so busy with Zac that often Reuben was just plodding along although all day I am trying so desperatley to plan things that make both happy..most of the time we succeeed but then we dont always...

BUbbles both my kids just love them....and well it went down very very well...my kitchen was just soap glorious soap.

MOre crafts more swimming, playdates...we had been rather busy....enjoying the early evenings. reuben curling up on his grandpa chair and then reading a story watching Thomas.....then falling asleep. I am loving his cuddles...his speech which is amazing...his singing....not his sleeping at night which happens in my room most often...and I end up on the floor. Me hopes its a phase...but he does say he wants to be in a room with us all. It must make sense as he is on his own in his room and yes the rest of us all together. So spring comes we will make some changes and I hope it will be all good...then again if not will just play along nothing lasts for ever does it? I am thankful for most things....my boys are perfect Reuben is making me PROUD and really is such a wonderful boy. God thanks for these lovely boys.
