NEWs!

We have glandular fever apparently together with a leaking ear (ear infection) and some anemia...ah well...at least finally we know whats wrong. Its been such a difficult week, Blood tests, urine tests etc. NHS hospital was lovley while the NHS Drs we have been up and down seeing were useless...they said he was seriously anemic and loads of other crap....so we went to BUPA and got an answer within 10 mins. Such is life in 21st century Uk. I guess whats upsetting me at the core of my being is that I am seen as a third world citizen yet the attention you get from medicals in Romania is 100x better. I have never had a good experience here in Uk unless it was private healthcare. Also what upsetts me is that we both work and pay taxes and we get a poor service from NHS so why do we pay these taxes!? Anyway, my experience with BUPA was amazing the DR called me at home twice and reassured me that unless it was needed we did not have to go in and see him we could probably solve it over the phone. He also said he was interested in making Medway Care as good as possible which is why he was so dedicated....if only we had something like you pay but you get some service that actually helps would be nice. Well, my conclusion is I am never trusting GPs with my son....it wil have to go private from now on!
