Since we came back its been a real rolercoaster...a nice day at the beach last week....Saturday and then just as we had dinner Maria had the most excruciating pain and sicknes...and from previous experience we all well knew this was a kidney stone....that was rolling and rolling and rolling. The pain was so horrible we had to call an ambulance which was a real story for a book....it got lost then we had to wait in A&E and sometime much later I was given pethedine and pain killers and morphine! I love MORPHINE its the only one that releaves that kind a pain. Anyway, this was repeated on Sunday night and then Monday night so by Tuesday it was decided to take me to the operating theathre and have it removed. I got implanted a stent which has to stay two weeks. Its kinda uncomfortable but nothing like that pain I had. Anyway, Reuben had a good time with mama and tata and Jonathan was here too. He was glad when I returned home on Wednesday I was pretty much out in terms of sleeping loads. Thursday had some guests arriving and Friday I was able to celan the house and prepare for the weekend. Reben has enjoyed having me back and so did I.
Daddy has done an amazing thing(Jonathan) and bought me one of my favourite paintings that I spotted long time ago on the highstreet....another story for another day, but he has earned himself a very very good place in my heart. I will post the picture of it on the blog....for you all to see. It is of a mummy and a baby....it talks about the gentle and motherly love I experienced when I had my son! And much more.....will write an essay if I talk more about it!
Anyway, its been a very interesting week. We ended the week with welcoming grandma and grandpa Smith to Sittingbourne. At the age of 86 and (!not gona tell grandma's age) we are amazed that they have decided to get closer to us but so pleased and so happy we will be closer so we can visit more and see family more. We will see them tomorrow for a welcome meal.
Some pics taken today and off course the lovely painting (sorry its a bit one sided photographed in a hurry).
