Ioana;s bday and teething

Hello

R has been teething so badly mummy is feeling the bites all over her body....knees, wrists, chin, anything R gets hold of goes straight in the mouth. Still, we managed to make a quick visit to Ioana in Finchampsted and it was such a nice thing to do. R had a bed night and mummy was in a real state as she was having caughing fits and shakes as she seems to have such a bad cold. So, today we just lazed around....daddy took R for a long walk the only sleep R had today. He finally dropped after much fighting at 11pm. THanks God mummy and daddy both had a 2 hour rest this afternoon so they can keep up if need to!

Just pray teething and sleepless nights will be better!

Christmas and else

HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

Here some new pictures that we took! Daddy wasn't well he had a horrible cold and now mummy suffers....hope they are not giving me this awful disease....although I quite like caughing makes everyone look at me. I figured when they all talk rubbish I caugh and then all eyes are on me...I then smile. I went to church for the Christingle service ate my food while the vicar was saying his sermon and then sang a few carols and we came home. True to he HUNGARIAN-ROMANIAN Boros family tradition after dinner, bath and just before bed we gathered around the tree mummy sang me the traditional song around the Christmas three and then we opened pressies! I got my firstest chaviest hat from aunty Noeleen it says my name on it in case my parents forget:)) well, not really its a really stylish one and such a cosy one. THANK YOU AUNTY NOELEEN. Also got my lovely T shirt from aunty Cheryl "Christmas cracker" typed on it and a white snow man which seems to have a hole in it and mummy seems to put it on her hand and make funny faces with it...
Mummy and daddy gave me a huge kiss and explained all the toys on the floor were bought in the spirit of Christmas so no pressie there for me...THANKS MA AND DA!
Anyway, I was so tired by this time I just closed my eyes and slept!
Next day mummy took me to church...wait I WILL SAY IT AGAIN MUMMY DROVE ME TO CHURCH, how did that happen? Dear me, she did well! So she then took an ill daddy to aunty CHeryl so we could give out the pressies to her and Julie and Graham.
Since we done not much I seem to be tired at all times I sleep, wake, eat, play and sleep again....its ok mummy says. I must be teething to bad, or growing or .....

Christmas Eve

Hello

See how Reuben has met Father Christmas? Not sure I understand why we have a SANTA CLAUS(FATHER CHRISTMAS) again but hey....! In Romania at granny;s house we open presents as we get home from church on Christmas Eve....so after we attended the 4pm Christingle Service with daddy(who is ill with a terrible cold) we have had some food then we bathed etc and opened the presents. R was enjoying opening presents and pulling wrapping paper apart! How exciting....still we enjoyed the presents watch out for a fool display later....still, here is the picture of half asleep R in the pram visited at church by FATHER CHRISTMAS?! Its funny how we wanted this picture to be a more successful one but sometimes he just won;t be BOTHERED both FC and R.

Nearly Christmas....visting Lincoln

Hello

We have been visting Lincoln this weekend. We wanted to say Happy Christmas in person to Granny and Grandpa and we had such a nice time....! R was an angel on the way there and he was lovely while there too except at night! We were in a new place and I guess he must have felt it?! Next night was not much better either although he wasn;t as loud as before. We are back home now and he was so excited to see his own surroundings. Was interesting seeing his reaction when he entered his room and his face just lit up ....at the sight of the lights and birdy mobile above his bed! He even played there for a while. He is now sound asleep so mummy grabs this opportunity to post some pics! Talk more soon!

Reuben is 5 months old today!

Hello Reuben is 5 months old today! Here are some pictures from our busy weekend! We are looking forward to Christmas. R has learnt about baby Jesus at the weekend as we visited Canterbury and enjoyed a nice walk in the cold then some fun drinking a well deserved warm milk in Waterstone while mummy, daddy and Annamaria had coffee.
Reuben also joined the Virgin Active sports club and soon is to try out the swimming pool. We are looking forward to Cameron coming back so we can have someone else to play with there too! So far the Smith;s are trying to live a better and more active life......but lets see can we?

I think Reuben's new year resolution will be to keep mummy fit and yummy!

Reuben reading Nursery Rhymes 5 months

Hello!

Yes, R has been busying himself with reading Nursery Rhymes and singing "All I want for Christmas is my teeeeeeeeethhhhhhh" Its so painful to watch (and how painful it must feel) him teeth! He sucks on everything, but mainly bites....he eats like a horsy but I guess its because it stops the pain for a little while. He has his third set of jabs and we had fever and loads of tummy upsets and a night of crying and we are both (mummy and daddy) looking forward to the weekend to try and sleep some.Poor R has been so good such a little hero! We love his interest in life. This week we assessed him and he did so well, we have found out that he is a social kid...he does not like toys but company....he likes people...finds them facinating. he is the most entertained when people are around...he watches people and looks out for their facial expressions....loves when people chat to him, smile and say, better and funny these two words are at this time the funniest....ITS GREAT WATCHING HIM LAUGH OUTLOUD....looking like he understands what life is all about. Mummy chats to him non stop and he just laughs when he feels like it....but then again who wouldn't .....

These pictures were taken by my professional photographer friend! We have now a Christmas Three and Reuben has really enjoyed the stocking that he borrowed that from Cameron!
