good bye ROMANIA...

What a cold cold day so we walked to the local nursery (Romanian- Hungarian) for the second time. The director of the nursery was so welcoming...and not only because we were Brits but because she genuinly is a nice person. the nursrey has so little in terms of toys but lovely children tables, chairs and the cuboards you can see fold down into beds so each child has their own beds too.

Reuben loves painting. Its interesting that they have each their own watercolours and paper pads, each have their tables and chairs and kids are so well behaved. Reuben had a fab holiday but today was very trying...he has gotten the idea that we are soon going home...and so he kept saying every 2 minutes "mummy...I want to go now to daddy house" or "mum I want my daddy" its so hard to explain the notion of tomorrow to a 3 years old. I think by the afternoon he understood or just knew the answer so kept saying: "tomorrow Reuben, Zac mummy and daddy to daddy house" pheww.....

If you do wonder where the children were! THey had gone for a walk...and so R had the room to himself and some kids from the other class came and joined him for a short play!

Reuben loved the puppets...and the pictures!:) inspection....I think it reminded him of being back in England as he then mentioned Siany (his key worker), Harvey, Keira, Gracey, Alfie, some kids from nursery back in uk.

My brother Misi....hard to pin him down to a photo!! He and R have a special bond...as in R seems to fly into his arms all the time even he has a very unshaved face right now....:))) still perhaps Reuben recognises there is a certain mischief in him that comes from my side of family specifically his uncle MISI.

THe huge space in the courtyard and in the garden was one of the highlights of Romania. Reuben has walked out in his PJs and no slippers several times when he woke in the mornings. He also loved helping sweaping up the floor and always had a little ride on the broom....after all who says work has to be no play?

a visit to the forefathers

The day has come to talk to Reuben about faith, death and life! He was facinated when today beautiful autumn day we took a walk to one of my favourite places back home the cemetry. I have not prepared a speach I was going to play it by ear! He was facinated by the graves loads of graves...and asked me what they were...to which I said they were people's beds who have falledn into a deep deep sleep. He snored...:)) he understood. then I added some have got pretty flowers like upsy daisy's bed...he liked that and he pointed out all the upsy daisy's beds....he liked a lot this angel and so he asked why was angel sad?!I said he was watching over the person who was asleep so he sat down and tried making angel laugh and make eye contact then just realised perhaps he'll join the angel in watching over the person. It was such a nice visit to the cemetry...such a lovely day and indeed a real few blessed moments. I think soon we are looking at introducing Reuben to the world or FAITH!!:)) How exciting.

Wow mummy look...and indeed what a nice view...the beds and the roof tops chimney's with smokes...the two sights of death and life....he was facinated indeed.

Now some of his more fun and less profane moments....:)) he was invited to Hana for a jacuzzi bath experience. Took him 20 mins to get in there but then it was rather big plea and bribery to get him outathere.:))) He is a real cheecky monkey as tonight he went there and asked to have yet another bubbly bath!

Trying to get some of the foam out as they had made tooooo much mess by this time. He was making a foam cake here....:))) while I was trying to get it into the sink, toilet and such.....:))

ONly two more nights here then back to England....it feels as though we have been away for ages. Reuben has suddenly felt emotion tonight as he chatted on the webcam to daddy...he said: I WANT TO GO DADDY HOUSE. the trouble is we have to wait. I am anxious little about the trip back I am hoping they will be sleeping at least as well as they have on the way here. I think I am not planning a trip back home anytime soon as its been hard work perhaps will do some more closer to home short breaks and such. I am missing hubby my right hand and right half...:) so two more days of bliss and fun then back to home to fall into a routine again.

ROMANIA ROMANIA ROMANIA

We are enjoying Romania a lot! Due to weather we have gone to the nearest city for some fun for two days this week. In Oradea there are a few shopping malls and we are amazed at the amazing entertainment that they provide kids for very little money. This particular fountin thing was in Lotus shopping centre and R seemed to be loving it.

Also at Lotus SC there is a fab kids entertaining house thing (I would call it KIDZ ZONE) and Reuben loved it....we did too as he seemed so good. I laughed when some kids starting quequeing up for water he also got in the queque the lady asked in Romanian if he wanted water and he said YES....:)))must be an international kido!

How very facinating...ORADEA one of the few cities with trams...and Reuben was beyond words can describe excited with being on a tram....and enjoyed so much waiting for it then hopping on it!:)

I know its hard to believe but MACDONALDS in Romania is very very expensive (to locals) and there is always entertainment such as now...making haloween masks...:)) here is Reuben with his finished product and also his brother was laughing his pants off when he saw R;s double face!!

This paddle pool and boats were the favourite in another shopping place called REAL:) So so fabulastic...don;t know why in England they don;t get more fun things like this. ...I guess must be health and safety and such...but honestly kids here have so much more fun!

How do kids really know how to do things?! By exploring and trying. It took R seconds to work out how to go backwards and forwards and spinning toooo I have some great videos that I will have to edit on my return as they are too long to publish...but really lovely to watch him enjoy himself so very much.And off course the so loved Trampoline....:))) gosh hope he does not ask for one of these...:))

ROMANIA STILL

Hello! How very much fun is that Reuben shares a huge house with his cousins Hana and Hanniel! Both much older but Reuben has taken a particular liking to Hana....called her Honor and all sorts...:)) Hana is so good that even let Reuben paint her face. Reuben seems to be into music, sport and very much painting...

Nearly a heart!:) Reuben after his master painting moments...:)) HIs other favourite is TATA House (this house we are at my parents now) and Perdi the dog and off course Hanna house (part of my mum;s house) and Harry's house (his other cousin who lives in the town) and today surprised us and after church went to Efi's house (who is my (maria)cousin;s son;s house) he came home half hour later after he explored everything they had for him to explore!

A quick photo at church today! Don;t laugh...I never intended to dress the boys in the same type gear but this I could not resist...looks gorgeous on them! Believe it or not the church is so good they have sunday school and we are in that room in the afternoon they have it for mums and kids and we had portable tv so Reuben was happy watching tv and then the kids all joined....bless! I guess we took "evil" into church ....but at least I was able to participate in the church service for once!

At Hana's house with cousin Harry (who was visiting) Reuben decided to play the huge guitar and be a rock star!!:)))) He loves it here. The 11-12 rooms and many bathrooms and space in general is humongous and so he can run and entertain himself loads. To be honest we all love it here. Must try and take some good photos soon...as these are just ones as we go along....:)))
Over all we are having a good time....R is loving it and Zac has been in his normal routine and been a sweet heart!:)) Daddy going to work in Berlin this Wednesday so....another week without daddy.

ROMANIA

All ON BOARD please! Pilot Reuben loved loved the travel to home and really did not mind being on the road for over 12 hours! actually we were on the road for nearly 18 hours! First of all we had no idea our taxi was going to be the poshest thing I have ever seeen...(some interesting 7 seater that was a car that was on the Apprentice) with DVDS above heads and seats that heat bums etc....and fold at a push of button.....wow we had a great time getting to airport. But also the boys were so well timed they slept through most of the flight and then at the end R got to see the pilot and sit in his seat and push buttons!!

Reuben had the best flight ever...slept then seen the pilot and been the pilot now was ready to go meet the relatives and off course friends that have indeed surprised us with their visit. that was followed by a small incident at the airport on our way home which involved Reuben getting aquainted with the Hungarian Police who were fantasticly helpful and entertained R the whole time...which meant we could do paper work (basically a taxi has run into us (backed into us).

R loved sitting in the police car!! yes he did!

He has asked so many times during the day " mummy I want to go to TATA house" (that means grandad) and I assured him thats where we went. he sat in the car for 5 hours and not complained once and that after being in a taxi, airplane etc since 6:3oam....just as we got about half hour from TATA house R fell deep asleep (Zac was asleep the whole 5 hours) and so when we arrived he wanted a bed...but next day...he had met most causins and played loads in the garden...with the loved dog Perdi!

Sorry about this but TATA was finally spending time with the boy that is spitting image of him....and off course what better gift on his bday! Happy Bday TATA!:)) God bless you and happy many returns!

HAPPY BDAY MUMMY!

Happy Bday mummy! I am officially 34 years old and feel very blessed that at the age of 34 I have come such a long long journey and even in a different country and culture I have a really special family, friends and acquaintances....I feel blessed in more ways than I could say and yes I think the journey only has begun!

I was showered with many many presents this one of my favourites!!:)) all are very special but this was something unique. This one friend I won;t say her name as she would hate me...for it for all the right reasons....she noticed and well noticed I LOVE RUSSIAN DOLLS....so gave me this lovely neckless.... THANK YOU!

Special HAPPY BDAY SINGING for mummy! I am excited he actually does know its my bday and he sings so happily and tries to play his organ....piano thing.

This week I have been busy trying to prepare for the NCT sale (to get rid of loads of things...) and Reuben got every oportunity to off course trash everything we prepared for the sale. As it happens one of my friends dropped off this piano thing and asked me to sell it for £7....R was in the bath but upon hearing the bell couldnt get out the bath....and as my friend put all her things on the liv room floor R desided this one is not going to the sale...:))) just look at his cheeky face!

Yeah yeah loads of toys this one picked up at charity shop for £10 such a goooooood find! Zac loves the motorised traines running on the track....! You can spot Kelli from nursery. She is sadly out of work...and she helps me a little the boys adore her and I have taken to her too she is such a lovely lovely friend and help. THANKS KELLI!:)

Boys remain very sweet sweet and lovely together! Reuben is very very protective and if Zacky cries or is fussed R says: ITS OK ZACKY....today we had some friends visit and they asked what his brother was called he said ZACKYRYAH!! so funny and sweet. Reuben had a good week. We have now dropped his hours to 9-3 and he has certainly been much happier. I thought he might be ill during the week but it might have been a passing something as he seemed to have perked up! This is probably last entry for a short while as we are off to Romania to see mama, tata and Rebeka and all the other family members on the 13th (yeah lucky day) Wesdnesday....hope we don;t get ill and enjoy the travel and the time in Romania.

ONE FAVOURITE THING ABOUT REUBEN: he is so independent he easily feeds himself the new thing is putting the washing on....and he does it better than I do...taking washing out and latest he can make his own sandwiches. The best thing is he announces what he would like with "mummy I want icecream (or such) and then goes and does it..." bless he is my little sunshine. Such a vibrant, happy, excited, always on the go and very helpful baby boy....GOD BLESS YOU MY SUNSHINE you are my amazing gift from God...and truley the best ever bday present you and your brother and daddy....who is off course Mr HERO too!

Reuben....

Happy Bday Kyron!:) Yes, another bday party! A very rainy Saturday spent in anticipation of Kyron's afternoon Bday party at Fun Drum. Reuben was so excited...
We got there and found out not many children from nursery were there but the ones Reuben often talks about were. Grace, Kyron, Reuben and Harvey!

Reuben was on his best behaviour to be honest I was so proud of him. Not only he played and shared but he ate all his food (except chips for which we are not telling him off...)

Grace, was particularly helpful giving everyone some ketchup....and off course Bday boy left his chair to join Reuben and Grace.

Yummm! Sausages....his favourite!

Don;t ya just love it when you turn up at these places and find these money eating machines...anyway gave in and paid a few round of table hockey!!:)) here he is saying he won! I love the fact that he has no idea what to do but gets so excited!!:))

Can;t but smile...Reuben and Harvey...these two...honestly made me laugh so much!

Reuben actually was trying to get the puck in the whole thing his side...and thought that was winning....:))) same as playing hide and seek when one calls and says ready or not he calls out saying READY... I AM HERE!!!:))))Bless!

Over all we had a good weekend despite horrid weather...rain rain and rain...! Saturday am we went for a drive and enjoyed some country side...spotted some trains and fire engines...then pm went to the bday party. Today we went to church to celebrate harvest then we enjoyed some MACDONALDS as we had not had it for ages and J was taking boys to see granny....! So the boys all went to see Granny Smith and loved and enjoyed time there while I slaved away home...while chatting to my mum and getting excited about taking my family back home soon. We had a good week in nursery and looking forward to this week. We found out R;s room leader has left so I am relieved as she really did not feel confident and happy there. So hopefully should be all good this week...we have few play dates arranged and some drs appointments and such. And a week on Wednesday we shall be flying off...home! yes, yes on the 13th!!!:))) lucky lucky!
