BYE BYE REBI!!!

Rebeka is gone! How sad....! The evening routine has not been the same...the day has not been either! We got up and got ready for the airport trip then said our tearful goodbyes (it was nice to have Rebi here for two months and two weeks and she is a hero for surviving it...especially while I was still up and down college and work etc)...it was such a special goodbye with tears...

She will be remembered for all the fun and all the help she gave us! Often we would sit in the living room all gloomy and doomy and she would make us laugh and get excited about things...we did not think you can enjoy anymore...(well not when you're knackered). Should be interesting to see how Reuben will find being only with mummy the next few days... (I mean day time).

Reuben had a brilliant bank holiday so far!
Saturday we spent time with Granny and Grandpa Smith and had lunch at the Cathedral Tea Rooms (Gardens) and then we had a nice stroll on the riverside...then we had a nice ending to the day by going to the playground and got really tired! Then today we went to Legoland! Let the pictures speak for themsleves. tomorrow we are all going to Museum of Kent Life where we love it...we have been there previously.

OK WIERD FAMILY! But Reuben had to inspect from very close and decided they weren;t huggable...so moved on to the next lot!

Reuben had an interesting week so far! We generally spent time around Rochester...went out everyday for a short while. Mummy managed to get all his clients on a one evening so that means she was around a bit more. R is very touchy feely this week...having discovered his bits he is always looking for them and pulling them....auch! He also ate better and kind a slept okish this week. He was weighed on Tuesday and he weighs 10kgs 160 grams which is about 22lb.
We are ok with this! We found some good bargains this week at the charity shops one thing R loves is his MEGABLOCKS but also his fire engine.
We are off this weekend to see grandparents in Sittingbourne tomorrow...then we might go to Legoland on Sunday and Monday we would go to see something NATIONAL TRUST LIKE....since we are members!
Ok. Must go do some ironing!

Hello!

Reuben had his MMR jabs this week and he is reacted so far okish to them. He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle cuddly toys etc. Loves to walk everywhere and he seems to get along with everyone okish. He seems to be coping with evening routine and sometimes he is so tired that after bath, play and bottle he just climbs into his cot and after one two backstrokes he snores away....HURRAY! Still we have not slept yet the night through....but....we are aiming for it. Quite how we don;t know yet! He is certainly slowly getting used to things and learning so we are hopeing its all gone be a matter of development as we wouldn;t like to make him into a machine, robot or automatic something ....neither do we want to be such things...
Will live and see?!:))

We have just spent a great day in London! I have been meaning for some time to go to London but did not manage yet! It was daddy who decided to have a look at some exhibitions and we joined. Rebekah, reuben, Mummy and Emese our dear friend from Romania(who is also au pairing until December in the neighbourhood). We had a gorgeous Starbucks coffee in Haze Galeria, then we strolled on the South Bank (Reuben loved it and he behaved ever so good) and then we went a few stops with the underground...and got to MUMMY;s favourite place St George's Hights where we had some beverages before making our trip back home by bus, train and car...ah and yes we have a new car (very exciting a HONDA CIVIC as our Dihatsu is in service) ....so Reuben had a facinating day and we did too! Enjoy the pics!

Now this is a first! Reuben was trying to give desperatly some pf his drink to Noah....who was very happy to get some but....the hight problem was a bit of a problem!

Ok! He is adement he can feed himself even if this means....mess everywhere and less food in the tummy! We have given up trying to tell him he needs to wait and get better coordination....so this is the result!...still how happy is he!!

Ok same as above but no comment.....HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELp! THanks God bath time is after dinner time!

Reuben had an interesting day today! He was very unpredictable...we expected him to drop off to sleep around 10am but he did not sleep until 12 by which time we should have been at grandad and grandma in Sittingbourne. We then arrived late at 2pmish and spent the afternoon with the Smiths (grans) which was great! We ended up inspecting the highstreet which meant that we bought again some bits and pieces for who else but R!!!!???:))) Yes a loan moer (sp) and some tapestry for the walls in his rooms in shapes of cars and planes.

He has enjoyed food well today and was a really good boy except this evening when he kept faling all over the place....then made a mess by eating his dinner with a spoon and the left hand....see pics! MXX
