Reuben's first hair cut!

Reuben had a haircut this morning...which was a bit on decided and done (very Maria) and he wasn;t impressed...he is missing his curls we all did. I guess it was the heat that made it look really like it was uncomfortable...he was sweaty and was pulling his curls...they also got hard to manage as they would get all tangled....
He looks more like a baby now...but here is for you all to decide some pics that I took ...not very good as he was moving.

MUD GLORIOUS MUD!

Aha we had a very very fun day! It was fabulous. Natalie decided taking us all to Westgate today and so we went....and we had loads and loads of fun. IT was scary to see how much Reuben enjoyed sun, sea, sand and off course us! He walked and walked and walked and barely sat down at all...so we all fell asleep on the way back (poor Natty driving) and then had a huge bath before R decided it was time to go to the sand pit in the garden.....so finally he has fallen asleep at 9ish after daddy had a difficult evening. Maria, Rebekah and Emese decided to give it a try and watch MAMA MIA but little did we know everywhere we tried they sold out...so instead we just walked on the side of the river and talked....now off to bed as we are all exhasuted. Hello here some photos of R's bday! Everyone seemed to take pics but only these so far so hopefully we will get some with the overall arrangments. THanks to my friend Natalie fr such wonderful cake of UPsy Dasy and tombliboos cupcakes. What a nice art work but how tasty yuuuuuuuuummmmm and she has worked 9 solid hours to do all this for us. WE ARE SO PRIVILIGED to have such a dedicated and nice friend.

Reuben's 1st bday party went really really well. I wish I would have done more food cause it was all gone in minutes....:)) I wasn;t able to talk much to people but everytime I looked around I saw people mingleing and enjoying themselves. So glad they had a good time. Reuben had such a nice day, loads of pressies and very generous gifts and loads of attention. He got exhasuted so he went for a sleep in the garden and then kept partying. He had a pretty bad night I guess due to the excitment but also could be teething again as the symptoms are similar. I am still awaiting some pictures that people took of the party but so far nothing! So, instead hear some cheeky pics of reuben enjoying the gate business and also his BDay present that he got todat a SAND PIT.

HAPPY BDAY TO ME!

Ah, what a nice day! We woke and had a good sing along and play...then I slept while mummy picked up granny and grandad from Sittingbourne and finally had spent special time with daddy as he came home early to see us. Then we went out for a meal and I got exhausted by all the attention and cards and presents I had to open! I can;t believe Rebekah even made me look like Beckham!

Another day closer to the big 1st Bday! Today we got many texts and yet more people wishing us a nice day tomorrow thats very kind except R's bday is not until THursday the 17th! Still we have put up some pictures of Reuben with his grandparents (Smiths) on the riverside walk. R loves that place.(currently closed due to the ground being fertilised we hear). Today we had a busy day...visited Natalie and Cammy to check out his toys...then wlaked into Rochester had a nice celebration(mummy having completed her course and finished college) cake and drink at the cathedral tea rooms and then we walked into Chatham with Natty and Cammy. We came home splashed around in the garden while mummy watered the plants and had a very difficult time falling asleep.

Anyway, we are now off to bed as we are knackered!
