A DAY OF PLAY

HEllo

Its been a long week me and mummy spent some quality time together but also got very frustrated as both of us got tired. Today Natalie and Cameron came around and we spent a lovely time together playing chatting and enjoying a cold afternoon. Next week Annamaria and Heni are arriving and so we should have more fun. THen we have Annamaria my new nanny coming and we will certainly be a bit better as we really all like friends and family around. For now...I am enjoying attention from mummy, daddy and local friends who pop in and see us. I enjoy my routine which is very much sleep, eat, play then sleep, eat, play and so on. My play time its either in the cot with my singing mobile or in the gymn in the lving room. I got Baby Einstein DVDs today so we do tend to wind down after feeding with music, video or dvd. We also go walking and enjoy fresh air. For such a young lad I am very busy. I am still exploring everything that I can get my hands on by putting it in my mouth and sometimes mummy says I try many things at one time so she better watch me ....
I am now rolling over from one side to the other by lifting my legs up and also I decovered my toes...I can hold on to them for few seconds at one time. I continue to wake screaming but mummy gets me laughing outloud within seconds especially when she throws me around and shows me the mirror....who wouldn;t laugh seeing themselves...?!!

We don;t have much planned for the weekend, I think both mummy and daddy are planning to get my push chair to the next level and get some warm padding into it!

back home

Since we were on the plane R started to enjoy flying he wants up in the air all the time....mummy;s arms are painful of all the heavy lifting still its excercise. He now successfully sucks his hands often trying to stuff his mouth with a toy, a dummy and his hands....(not very good at prioritising or choosing he wants it all like we do....) he also laughs outloud when he decides someting is funny...often when you least expect it!!! Or maybe he just wants attention?! He is a sweetheart! He seems to be eating every 3 hours and likes to chatter just like mummy.

NOt sure we are pleased to be back but will try and cope!

more Romania

Hello!

Wow what a beautiful place that Romania is! Since we came back we have not stopped talking about moving back there and enjoying the simplicity but the excitment of such an organic life! You don;t have to worry about kids playing outside, you are not preassurised in the latest gadgents and everything is so fresh and so unspoilt. When I saw the view (see first picture) which is just outside my town I nearly knelt down and kissed the fields the ground on which we are still able to just be....amazing! Reuben did not need many toys or to be entertained as everything he loved...the horse and carriages the cows that we overtook and most of all the many cousins that kept chatting to him. LIke he would understand he just chatted back and smiled to everyone. The aroplane trip was amazing too...so stressed that he might not like it yet he barely grizzled at all....I think we were more fedup than he was. He enjoyed the car trip too which was 4 hours nearly 6 with the well deserved breaks. He slept so much I worried taht when we arrived home at 2am he woud not want to sleep but he was out like a log!

It was nice!

Reuben Michael Smith;s Christening

Hello

Reuben's Christening was a wonderful Day! IT was a day that nearly all Smith;s were there and also my mother who missed my wedding as she was unable to get visa etc. I had friends from USA, Romania, and loads of other places. IT felt so nice just like a big family. Reuben had loads of present and enjoyed the day with loads of attention. He was a sweetheart. Father Gordon has not done what its cold a half job he well and truely has CHRISTENED Reuben drenching him completly but better well done than badly done! It will certainly be a day to remeber! As for us, tomorrow back to work, college, granny looking after R. But good news R is off to Romania his first trip on the plane on Wednesday with mummy, daddy, Granny, and Godmother Cheryl.

Romania here we come!

Glad that there will be people housesitting.....!!!! so the house won;t be too empty!

Mummy;s 31st Bday

Happy bday me!

What a nice day despite the weather! This morning Reuben was so good he slept nearly til 7:30 then came downstairs where granny already drinking her coffee waited for him. Daddy was in the kitchen too and gave mummy two cards....mummy thought one would have had money while the other words of wisdom from daddy but no no no it was so much better than money...mummy opened first a card on which it said: "TO MY MUMMY...I might be little but I love BIG!" that was from Reuben and was so cute! Also the other was from daddy and was sweet too!
Mummy went back for a nap....then granny read some wise words to mummy from a book called the BIBLE and then she praied for mummy and Reuben. She also told the story of mummy's birth. So, after much chattttttttttting mummy did her favourite thing....yes CLEANING.....from nearly 12o'clock til 5pm with small breaks to kiss and cuddle Reuben who has been particularly good today. Mummy's friend Sian and Jasmin came around for a few minutes and brought a lovely pressy! Mummy had a good shower and then cooked a lovely meal. Cheryl R's Godmother popped in with another nice pressy and so the day just flew....R went to bed finally around 10:45pm. R has a cold at the moment so he sneezes and sniffles loads but he is ok.
As there has been a postal strike today we are hoping tomorrow;s post will bring some cards and some good wishes....still for mummy....its nice to have a bday!

Now tired after an exciting day we are all off to bed to sleep!

Ali's wedding and 6th Oct 2007

Hello

Today we went to Surrey to a nice wedding of Ali our friend! IT was such a lovely day, we stopped for a bit of shoppping on route and had a great time ....we had a mini celebration of mum's bday in Caffee Nero ...R has been an angel! Let pictures talk for itself!!
