CATCH UP!!

A summer of fun which has been so relaxed and so us! Its taken me 7 years to relax into motherhood and just as I best love it I am now a part time almost full time back to work mum. Still the moments we have are so much more valuable.
As I was working through the summer we had made a conscious effort to do all the things that we have been meaning to do that are local to us. Here we are enjoying a day out with the Dispensiris at Kent Life Museum. It really is a place we had not seen for a few years and pretty cool place best enjoyed when with friends.

Summer has brought these two brothers closer! I am eternally grateful we could stop and enjoy home yes at times it was difficult to get the boys to agree and share but eventually I have witnessed brilliant solidarity and a real bonding! YAY
Another day at Ski Slope in Chatham!!! it was a lot of fun tobogganing and enjoying thye giant donat rides.
Reuben got to reminisce about his time at Kloisters:) kindergarten. Here is us Zac his graduation from the same nursery. It was amazing that Reuben was not only mentioned but asked to wave at his brother during his awarding ceremony....three years on they haven't forgotten Reuben.
And yes! this summer we had decided to start BMX racing. We agreed to let him have a try and he has come straight into intermediate level....wow! He raced at one of the South BMX events and so now we are attending weekly training, members of two clubs and making some interesting discoveries....such as we know NO FEAR! We enjoy a challenge! We love the race no matter what the weather!
Brilliant picture at Cyclopark by Catherine Price! Reuben is 5th from the left!
After living 10 years here in Kent we got to visit Upnor Castle!!! Yes! We also enjoyed the Medway Bus tour which operates in Summer.
Ok! After a day of fun at Margate Beach we had managed to squeeze in the Turner Contemporary museum and it was amazing!

I am amazed that people say R looks like me.....cant see it myself...but I love him so much!
 Boys at Upnor!
And now the arty side of Reuben! I am amazed because Reuben seems to have come a massive long way! He is loving maths, factual stuff, argues well and really is enthusiastic about art. He loves drawing and really has such a good eye and can put things on paper very well. At school he took of withy his handwriting and during the last 4 weeks his fascination with writing footballers names is endless he just keeps on writing never tiring. He has been so much fun this summer!!! His loyalty towards friends and his ambition to excel have been such a treasure. Half way through term 1 in yr 3 and he is changing so very much already. I love you Reuben Michael Smith!
