Thomas Day

During this week we had so many emotional rollercosters! Monday we had the scare of Reuben being terminally ill....then we had some ray of sunshine that it was just a difficult infection and by Tuesday evening we found out it is MENDABLE! Thanks God! - my life has just been turned just that litle upside down and while I tried to keep a brave face and keep Reuben's lethargic spirits up...with THOMAS AND HIS FRIENDS some hope came that R will get better! - Something we looked forward to is to see if he is good enough for the prebooked Thomas Day...and voila here we are we met Thomas and his friends THE REAL ONES. Reuben had the time of his life ....so excited and so happy to have seen him in his element again. There is no bigger joy to a mother's heart then to see his kids happy and excited...ON THE MEND BEING THE FAVOURITE WORD TODAY! - started to hope he will be back soon to his old self!

Ok! The train we rode on!- in case you wonder the hungarian translation speak about my amazement at how these trains resembled my youth in Romania...the same old trains...without the happy faces.

NEWs!

We have glandular fever apparently together with a leaking ear (ear infection) and some anemia...ah well...at least finally we know whats wrong. Its been such a difficult week, Blood tests, urine tests etc. NHS hospital was lovley while the NHS Drs we have been up and down seeing were useless...they said he was seriously anemic and loads of other crap....so we went to BUPA and got an answer within 10 mins. Such is life in 21st century Uk. I guess whats upsetting me at the core of my being is that I am seen as a third world citizen yet the attention you get from medicals in Romania is 100x better. I have never had a good experience here in Uk unless it was private healthcare. Also what upsetts me is that we both work and pay taxes and we get a poor service from NHS so why do we pay these taxes!? Anyway, my experience with BUPA was amazing the DR called me at home twice and reassured me that unless it was needed we did not have to go in and see him we could probably solve it over the phone. He also said he was interested in making Medway Care as good as possible which is why he was so dedicated....if only we had something like you pay but you get some service that actually helps would be nice. Well, my conclusion is I am never trusting GPs with my son....it wil have to go private from now on!

What a week....roll on Thomas weekend!

Hello All

The news is that Reuben's test results are back! The NHS Drs are useless and I am very sorry but for one months I was willing to trust them and their system but its failed me once again. I have decided to go private although I am furious at the fact that you pay your taxes etc and you get crap!- still...the news is his blood tests are not looking good and he is suffering of some serious anemia (for which we have not received any medication as the dr wasn;t confident and needed an expert's opinion). I had to "choose and book" an appointment today with any possible hospital when I realised the wait is two months so I took matters in my own hands...DAMN I WISH WE WERE IN ROMANIA.

We will know more soon the BUPA Dr was amazing!

Here some photos I took today with Reuen we had such nice two days to bond and plenty cuddles...and he has been amazing we barely saw daddy as he was working til 9pm both evenings. He is now ill with a fever in bed! These are our news today!

My gorgeous 20 months old Reuben! Isn;t he such a handsome buy! Mummy's boy! - Anyja fia ugye? Annyira szeretem ezt a kepet....sem tul nagy fius sem nem tul bebis olyan edi anyja fia...20 honaposan!

We did not have a great Mother's day however the weather was good and hoping to hear good news this week. Reuben has been diagnosed with Ear Infection yesterday afternoon and today was a difficult day especially as daddy was under the weather as well. Mummy is not 100% eother but then we must soldier on as my neighbour Annie likes to say. For now everyone is ordered to bed....more next week!

This the same day at Shorne Country Park! Reuben and I took some time o re energise our batteries! We have both had a lot on our plates recently! Lovacska vagy eppen kakas? Na mindegy elvezkedunk igy ni!

And a small work out at Shorne Country Park! Reuben went up and down like spiderman! Es persze maszunk mint a pokhalo ember!

What a delight! the park at Shorn Country Park is being roaded up (a road will lead to it) therefore some diggers and other interesting CAAAARS were in action and Reuben was in his element! Reuben was screaming with delight caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar!pointing at it! Ajaj nagy orom hogy utban a parkban meg ezt is lattunk! HUuuu volt szorakozas elvezkedes es mindenre pszre nagyba mutogatva hogy auto!

And a picknick at home on Tuesday evening anything to make my monkey eat! not entirley successufull! NA es hogy talan megjhozzuk az etvagyat a fiamnak meg a picknicket is problatuk othon elvezni....de nem volt egesz sikeres!

Hello! - not a very good week! R has been really ill for two weeks, mainly really high fevers, not a great deal of eating, sweaty head and wet pillow under his head in the mornings, lethargy and such....we then Tuesday evening were told by the nursery they have discovered a lump on his head just behind the ear but as part of his cranium reather than a place where fluids seem to be. So anyway, got fed up on Wednesday when in the morning I descovered R had a blazing fever and in the afternoon took him to the drs not a good great deal of enlightening but he has ordered many tests that we are gona undertake on Wednesday. Should be fun...well I would like to think of it as an adventure cause any other thought right now scares the SHIT OUT OF ME.

Anyway will keep everyone posted please all keep positive its only a lump...and we don;t know what and how and when....its just there!
