Hello

Today we said bye bye to Gary our pastor abd very good friend at Eltham Park Baptist Church. IT was such a nice time and also got to see some of the youngsters we used to teach sunday school getting baptised! that was a bonus. Reuben was admired and surrounded by all our friends and we were so pleased to see everyone. We kept threatening we will be comming to see them but a year later here we were! It was nice. THen we got back to Rochester with a sleepy Reuben and went straight on to Cameron's bday party! HAPPY BDAY CAMMY again!
This was a very fine party! The food was splendid and no rubbish and the yummy mummy even hand made all the goodie bags. The kids had such a nice time they were enjoying all the new toys and it was really nice to see everyone again....we got back home really shattered and within 1 hour and a bath Reuebn was out and asleep! Perhaps thats how busy should our life be all the time for his bedtime to be BLISS....but wait we are always this busy and its not working.....ok probably need a healthier ballance. Mummy is getting excited as soon Reuben will be celebrating his 1st Bday! July the 17th! The party not until the 19th!

Hello

Another day busy as it can be....

Reuben wakes happily! After his am walk on the High Street with Rebekah as mummy was making breakfast.....he came in played and then went with daddy for a stroll during which he was well and truley sleeping....they went to Riverside and also to Chatham to do some shopping. Then Reuben had his lunch played some more, got dressed in his bumble bee outfit and went to Noah's 1st bday! It was a beautiful day with loads of lovely animals and kids dressed up in all sorts of nice characters for Noah's themed bday. Unfortunatley R was so knackered and needed his rest so we needed to leave early and missed the games and "goodie bag" so never mind....he then went with daddy to see grandma and grandad. Meanwhile mummy washed the carpets, ironed, washed some more, cleaned everywhere with Rebekah's help off course! Reuben had a good day, he was so tired when he went to bed he just crashed....while mummy did paperwork upstairs. WELL WE MISSED THE WEDDING OF OUR DEAR FRIEND ROBYN! She is so gorgeous we had a text picture but with mummy's last weeks of hard college work and work and everything else and of course not wanting to intrerupt Reuben's routine....we missed the wedding....and the cake and the good adult fun! NEVER MIND! HOPE SHE IS GORGEOUS, HAPPY AND ENJOYING HER DAY!

HAPPY BDAY ELISABETH!

Ah, aunty Elisabeth is celebrating her bday today! We wish she could be here....so we can have coffee and laugh together. Draga Erzsike nagyon hianyzol nekunk de jo lenne egyutt kavezni...
We had a very busy day! We did the normal things in the morning, then walked around the highstreet, castle grounds in the fresh air then played loads slept and went to nursery! Unfortunatley R has got a bad nappy rush and did not feel 100% so nursery phoned to say "come and pick up pickle is unwell" so I was driving 100 miles/h from Maidstone where I had my supervision. My baby I imagined is in severe distress and needs his mummy. Funny feelings this maternal ones..... as he has not been able to sleep and so looked like he needed it (otherwise happy baby when he got picked up) I decided to do a long drive....except by then I have not managed to eat since 10 am so both me and Rebekah were starving. Just by the time we got to strood.....he was asleep so we grabbed a MACDONALDS and then headed to Bwater where we met daddy. We had enjoyed a meal out and Reuben had his first Ravioli and loved the fish tank in John Lewis. He is knacekered and asleep and we are dashing to get some too before the morning comes!

Reuben had an interesting week. He seemed to have a cold...then it kind a was a bad caugh....then spots appeared again, then horrible screams during the night time...so we do not know is it jus teething....is it something else> I have decided to keep an eye on things but won;t go to drs as I always just get told keep a close eye and come back.....to be honest I think I often know better than that! Still he is happy chappy and now that he is walking he seems to be changing a bit his routine too!
Right now I am not doing well with changes causeI get very tired and working and everything else....but we are coping JUST!

Cammy this week so far on Monday was enjoying park and play time with Rebakah while mummy was in college. Tuesday we did some shopping, went to Monkey Bizz and more shopping. THen Wednesday we celebrated Cammy's bday and Thursday today he had mummy until 11, then Rebekah while he had a huge sleep 11-1:30pm, then daddy came at 2pm had lunch then they all played and went for a long walk to the Riverside walk. Then Mummys came and took him for a small drive in the courtyard and bathed together...then just fell asleep....mummy ironed then did coursework...blog and sleep hopefully,

Tomorrow we are going to nursery and then Saturday busy day have a party in the morning one in the afternoon and then Sunday the same.....!

Walking and talking? Ok. Reuben had a very exciting day! After a not so good night....after loads of shitting (scuze my language) after I gor worried about his horrible nappy rash and sensitivity the last few days....and just when I concluded he is teething again Tooth nr 7 seems to arrive....well my darling son took off and started to walk. With Rebeka who was looking after him. He was in the garden (Rebeka tells me) and she tells me he just got up walked then looked back and laughed then walked some more. (what a shame mummy was seeing her therapist at the time....if only I would have known perhaps I would have taken this as therapy).... Reuben, mummy and Rebi spent some time choosing some nice pressie for Elisabeth (the aunty that came to stay with mummy, pre-during and after Reuben's birth) for her bday....only a small something cause we wanted to cheer her up....then mummy took R and R to Monkey Bizz while mummy saw her osteopath. We then went to Dockside....just for some time killing and looking around. This is where mummy saw Reuben in full action and it was so cute. Just as I was so excited I noticed something on my car's window....yes a car parking fine yes, I have parked in the worng place while seeing the Osteo and obviously only just noticed. I have to say....I was so shocked I nearly cried....everything seemed to go so nice today....and then this SHIT! Ok....still lets not get too taken with this....! I was silly I hate myslef but I still have the cutest, bestest, loveliest estestest baby in the world! So maybe he will be walking before he is 1yrs old. I am hoping fingers crossed that the video will show cause he is so cute if not I will just have to deal with just a bit more SHIT! Mxx

Hello

Pretty easy weekend here. After Maria has once again sucessfully busied herself with this and that on Friday, Saturday we all went to Bwater together with the grandparents too. This meant that mummy, Reuben and Rebeka took the bus there and back, which was exciting for Reuben. Reuben had enjoyed a curry in John Lewis. yes, a curry with plenty of yellow rice.....ah he ate all mummy's food but at least he is adventurous there as well. He also slept pretty well last night feeding at 4am only after his feed at 7:30pm. NOt sure how this happened but it was good. Today mummy finished a long piece of work that she has done for college hopefully the last written piece (other than some small ones). We had a nice breakfast then lunch and Reuben was enjoying the garden, the esplanade (the swings and the playground) and the riverside walk. To make things easy we then went swimming and Reuben loved it....he eventually fell asleep....and hopefully will have a quiter night.

BUBEN?

(I started likeing this....our little friend Georgia in the neighbourhood calls Reuben BUBEN....I think thats cute).

Hello. Reuben has been up and down lately. HE still caughs and gets tired then overtired and seems to fight sleep. He has a routine that every so often changes so....I am keeping a dirary to keep up with it all.

This morning R woke with the general chit chat and just blowing air and looking at us...lazy parents a bit like..."come on the sun is up and its gona burn your ass so wake up" ...but sweet as he is....he then started copying mum. I was saying things like mum, mama, and all of a sudeen I saw him embrace it and say it over and over again with a huge grin....ITS A MAMA LOUD AND CLEAR! I could not stop kissing his little cute face. Anyway, then we got up, washed, changed, ate and got ready to go for our early morning check up and stroll on the highstreet. I love that interesting view of all the rush (people getting to work) I laugh cause sometimes people get so funny....falling over and waking up, or fixing their makeup, walking fast with a burning coffee its my favourite I even saw a man running with a hot steaming coffee...but on a serious note this is the time I think tomyself lucky us! WE then pop up the castle grounds and I see the M2 clogged up by hundereds of cars....and then I see the Rochester Bridge again with similar difficulties. I then look up at the trees and hear the noisy but cheerful birds and play hide and seek with Reuben and imitating bird noises! HE loves it. THen we walk back home....today we stopped to have a coffee with Annie my neighbour and it was fab! THen Rebeka(who arrived on Wednesday) took R out and he was fast asleep from 11-12:30ish. We got to nursery a but late 1:45ish and Reuben went straight in and played. We picked him up and he was a bit tearful but ever so glad when mummy held him. He was a good boy they said but he did not nap. thats good cause that means he was fast asleep at 7:30. We stopped on the way back from Nusery at Jim's and was so happy to see how well he is and the family too. ITs 11pm and I need my beauty sleep so...unsure of what we should do this weekend....I will sign off and talk to you all later!

BYE BYE ANNAMARIA AND HAPPY 11 Month REUBEN!

What a day we had today. Reuben had to say goodbye to Annamaria who sadly left us after a month of loving care and help and just generally was nice to have her here.
Natalie and Cammy have invited us on the way back from Gatwick to stop at Leeds Castle for a picnic as Reuben was 11 months today and what a good idea....mummy was worried as she should do some course work but then again she was happy to be in the fresh air and see Reuben enjoying himself with Cammy.....ah yes and mummy talking "this and thats with Natty".
We got home and Reuben was just so good...he played with his toys and read his books then came to join mummy in the kitchen. He was searching through the cabinets when he found something interesting and looked to mummy like "WHY HAVE YOU BEEN HIDING THIS FROM ME IT LOOKS YUMMMM" off course mummy was busy putting his meals for the next month in containers....and by the time mummy could answer R's question she noticed Reuben has took a good bite of the BOLD 2in1 Liquidtabs.....and panicked clicked in. Reuben immediatley panicked as it wasn't what he thought it might be...water, milk, bubbles in the mouth followed then sme food to push things down....! He then became very irritable..(no surprise)and so mummy did the evening routine. He fell asleep very deeply (WOWO WORRY) and then woke immediatley with being sick etc. At least its come out but he has been sleeping since cause probably he has had a long day added to which he managed to make himself sick twice.

Well what a great day to celebrate our 11 months.....! WHAT HAPPENS AT 12 months anniversary?

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

Reuben has had a difficult week and so did we. Today was the first day that he seemed ok...so we made sure we have some fun. We gave daddy his first father's day present a nice picture album that mummy and Reuben has put together so that daddy can show this to everyone at work and just generally carry it with him. He also got some goodies (KENYAN COFEE and some other bits). THen mummy made bacon and eggs and we all took breakfast in the garden in the gorgeous sunshine it was so nice after so much worry for Reuben to finally relax. Then Reuben had a stroll around with daddy and fell asleep while mummy cleaned up got ready to take Reuben out to the swings after his snack...and it was sad the weather got suddenly cooler and looked like rain....still we had a nice time out while daddy did some paperwork. We came back in time for Reuben to have his nap then mummy made daddy's wish lunch (burgers and chips and onions salad....) which was wonderful. Then we played some more and went to the Riverside for a walk. Mummy had a chat with aunty Cheryl and then caught up with Annamaria and Reuben (while daddy still did the paperwork).
Reuben had such a good day, slept, ate (not as well as usual), played, been in the fresh air and saw a huge fish (see pictures). Over all was a good day. BY the time we came back from the Riverside walk (THANKS GOD FOR THAT AS ITS BRILLIANT) R was ready for his sleep ....he fell asleep at 7:30-7:45. He si still caughing really badly and generally more tired and weak but he is slowly getting better and mummy, daddy and Annamaria are all just watching him and hopeing its all over soon. At least the spots have gone and he is generally better.
